The Ingredients of Vitality

Broccoli

Broccoli

Fiber and naturally occurring plant nutrients, including sulforaphane. One of the vegetables that regularly appears in the Manor kitchen.

Blueberries

Blueberries

Fiber, antioxidants and phytonutrients. A regular part of the Manor's fresh-food rotation.

Egg

A high-quality source of protein, essential amino acids and naturally occurring nutrients.

Sweet Potato

Carbohydrate and fiber, and a familiar staple in the Quartet's meals.

Salmon Roe

Salmon Roe

Plain Greek yogurt provides protein and live cultures, used when it suits the individual dog.

The Supplements of Strength

What appears in each bowl depends on the individual dog, which is why the supplement routine is treated as a flexible part of the Stack rather than a fixed formula. These additions complement the Quartet's meals; they do not replace complete nutrition or veterinary care.

The Manor's Weekly Meal Plan

The Butler's rotation, framed and hung where everyone can consult it. Toppers alternate through the week over the same base, because not every supplement belongs in every bowl.

The base

One quarter to one cup of Prescription Diet i/d Low Fat Digestive Care dry food, chicken, measured per dog.

  • Frozen broccoli florets, cut small — one floret each
  • Natural Greek yogurt — one tablespoon each
  • Manuka honey for dogs — a drizzle, about one teaspoon
  • Organic marine kelp superfood supplement — one small supplied spoon
  • A dash of turmeric powder

Tuesday · Thursday · Saturday

  • Salmon roe — half a teaspoon each
  • Frozen or fresh blueberries — six to ten each
  • Steamed sweet potato — five to eight tiny cubes each
  • C8 MCT oil from coconut oil — 1/8 oz, measured with the pack fill level
